A Day at the Horse show

A breezy day at the horse show. My daughter signed up as a judge and was in charge of watching two jumps with a couple friends. We went with Auguste. The jumps were high, the horses brave, and they made us feel like we were flying.

Rosie is right, they are great photos. really great! Helps when you have a great subject, right?

Are those walkie talkies that some of the kids were carrying? What's the deal with that?

Thanks for the compliments - it is easy to take nice pictures with a great subject (I have a lot of blurs and some cut-off horses, lol.)
Daisy - the walkie talkies were for the jumps the kids were watching. When a horse went clear it was "Contestant number so-and-so cleared jump number nine."
or if something happened, it was "Contestant number so-and-so fell off at jump number nine." (or "his horse had a refusal, or the jump is broken, come fix it!")

The photos made me think of Airs Above the Ground.

The one of the black is particularly beautiful.
