There's a story in my head...

I have this story in my head, but I can't let it out until I finish the two projects I'm already working on. A legacy from my childhood - I was taught to finish what I started, be it homework, a drawing, or a fight.
:-)

We had a lazy Christmas, but we were all so tired it felt good to spend the day not doing anything at all. My daughter was recuperating from the flu, my son is getting ready for his mid term exams, (in France they are called 'partials', and they count for half of the student's final grades) and my husband was glad to just sit back and relax. I bought an already made couscous for Christmas dinner, and we had that and oranges. (And ice cream for dessert!)

Today son is studying, daughter is going to the pony club, and I will be working on my writing projects so I can finally get to that story that has been inside my head!

Do tell, what is the story behind the picture? First thing that came to mind was firefighters and a fire in the woods. Then again it is early and I am still on my 1st cup of coffee.

That was from the hunt on Monday morning. It was early, the sun was rising, and the frost on the window in the truck made the light look like fire. The orange is what the beaters wear for safety. I'm in the truck 'cause I was a beater. (Along with Auguste)

Lol, I spent Christmas being lazy, too. And eating too much. :)

Argh, don't you just hate that - a story in your head and other stuff to finish first - I find I'm always torn in this regard! I also have one in my head, though admittedly I have put down a few chapters but now I need to stop and go back to a re-edit of an earlier work that I've finally had some constructive feedback on. Of course, the result is, nothing at all is happening on either count!

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas, Sam, and that 2008 brings you all and only good things!
