Quiet weekend

It's not raining today (this photo is from last year) but it's quiet here, and the sky is gray.
Number one son is at the fire station doing his guard duty. Daughter is at a friend's house. The dogs are asleep. Hubby is at work. The only sound is the washing machine as I wash the dog's bed and a few throw rugs.
A lazy, sleepy Saturday.
I finished up my project for Red Sage and sent it off. I hope the editor likes it. I had a lot of fun writing it, and I'm already plotting out another book for the same series. (Ever the optimist!)
I'm working on finishing my YA fantasy, but since I have no idea what market to send it to, my heart isn't really in it. I even started another urban fantasy, since I love writing those so much. So now I have three projects again, and no idea when they will be done or what to do with them! I suppose this is not the best business plan.
Calderwood Books is taking a lot of time now as well, as we work toward putting all the books in print. If you are interested, there is a new 'Print Book' page at the Calderwood Books website.

That's funny... 3 projects done and you don't know what to do with them. That's almost exactly what happened to me... I have three finished book dummies all done at the same time. Now it's time to try and sell them.

I worked on all three at the same time... so now they're all done at the same time.

They were all written as escapism... now there's no where to escape to!

:0)

A very evocative photo.
I just scanned through your prologue and will go back and reread closer. Looks pretty intriguing.
Happy (and successful) writing!

Hi John, I don't know if it's funny or pathetic. Like you said, it's escapism - and also a way never to be bored (or have enough hours in a day to do everything, lol.)

Thanks Wynn!! I have to come over and read more of your fabulous travel blog!!
