(and soccer, lol)

And Tara, I can't count the times I've shot out of this chair with five minutes to make dinner for everyone. A watched pot DOES boil, lol, especially when dinner has to be made!

That's true, Maddie - maybe procrastination is your subconscious's way of saying "Sloooowww Down, you have Wayyy too many plates in the air!"
Then again, it may be sheer laziness, lol.Samhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05943062466398436785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10560969.post-1129664382225399972005-10-18T21:39:00.000+02:002005-10-18T21:39:00.000+02:00I dunno-- in the 1970's and 80's when I was a stay...I dunno-- in the 1970's and 80's when I was a stayathomeMom with a toddler, it seems the days went on and on, lotsa time for everything I wanted or needed to do.. Bake bread, read a few charts, long walks in the park to feed ducks with Andrew (son.) Life was very simple then.

Now, I think I've put too MANY activities and "goals.." into my life and the only way OUT is PROCRASTINATION--

This multi-tracking way of life has gotten out of hand, don't you think??

Is it a dream to contemplate having a "simple life" once again??

I think Chey is on target-- putting certain stressors just plain old OUT of one's life!Madeline Hillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15923710592045313500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10560969.post-1129506181361669182005-10-17T01:43:00.000+02:002005-10-17T01:43:00.000+02:00Since procrastination is my middle name, when you ...Since procrastination is my middle name, when you figure out how we get so much done, let me know. Some days I find myself playing on the computer or window shopping and I'm left wondering how I managed to get dinner on the table at night and Anthony into bed by 7:15.Tara Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15963704767440694312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10560969.post-1129422331015093312005-10-16T02:25:00.000+02:002005-10-16T02:25:00.000+02:00If they had awards for procrastinators I'd win one...If they had awards for procrastinators I'd win one! Yes, the computer can be a terrible time-waster (I don't watch very much TV so that's no problem) and I love doing x-word puzzles or playing Free Cell and Solitaire though I have enough sense now to limit myself to 5 games each only!!!! (strict rule!) As for blogging..well I consider it at least a way to get myself writing so I don't classify it as a time-waster activity and I try to only look at other people's blogs once a day late when I am not doing any serious writing. Procrastinating must be the bane of every writer, don't you think?Wynn Bextonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08606284153866696343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10560969.post-1129399789654034992005-10-15T20:09:00.000+02:002005-10-15T20:09:00.000+02:00Good for you for getting rid of the stressers! Golf is better though.
LOLSamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05943062466398436785noreply@blogger.com
